Hey guys i was just curious what a rebuild would cost me? Im lookin to put a 2.2l KB Blower on it, and it just makes me nervous knowing the engine has 140,000 on it. So i was curious what a rebuild, hone, etc. Would cost me? Id be doing all the work myself, so basically just the price for the bearings, and machine work on the block. How much power will the stock internals on these motors handle? I kno the block only likes about 500, im assuming the stock internals wont go that high will they? Anything else i should change while the motors out? Pistons or anything?

I couldn't tell you, since I did all the machine work myself, but one thing I will comment on is, yes the stock crank/rods are stronger than the block. Go .030" over and get forged pistons.
