I'm natrually convinced a '03/'04 Cobra is far better than modding my GT (with the 3 to 4 grand that would be available). How about the same question towards a '04 Mach 1?

To refresh your memory;

Option 1: Mod my GT with a Stroker Kit and Cams or Heads, Cams, LT and Prochamber.

-OR-

Option 2: Trade-in for a '04 Mach 1.

I have about 70,000 miles on my GT. In my eyes a Cobra would be "my" ultimate Mustang, but I haven't read into the Mach 1 and the possibilities of what it could become as much.

Are you kidding me? You can get a used 03 cobra just as cheap as a 04 mach 1... GET THE COBRA!

Id go with the Mach personally they look awesome and respond well to mods and insurance will be a tad bit cheaper than a cobra

I'd recommend either car (Cocra or Mach 1) over modding the GT.

The Mach 1s have the best NA DOHC going today and a live axle so wheel hop and IRS issues won't be a factor if you run at the 1/4mi track.

But, if you want the best bang for the buck today .... the Cobra by far.

Either would be a great choice, besides, at the prices the Mach1s are going today you could get one for $24K or a Cobra for $28K.

So, depends on what you want it for .... a Mach 1 would be a perfect 'buffed' replacement for the GT.

Mach 1's do respond well to mods I guess? But a CAI on a 03 Cobra will give you 20+ rwhp.. try that on the Mach 1.

Sorry if I was confusing in my question, but I do also think the Cobra is a given.

The question was purly directed towards moding the GT or trading for a Mach 1. I kind of got the idea of the responses concerning the Mach 1 as a preference. I just wasn't sure since I have already put into my GT that I would be losing out in the trade-in
