Every 05 S281 N/A that has been sold in Calif. is sitting behind Saleen's headquarters in Irvine waiting for a small mod for re-certification.
The cars have been shipped there over the last couple of weeks. I'm sure not all are there as I know a couple of fellows that have not "given up" their cars yet.

S281 Supercharged production has begun in part but only because key parts for the new series blower have not yet arrived making all of the cars accounted for an d bumper numbers but exact ship dates completely unknown. Blame Whipple.
Saleen will delay delivery on the S/C's until he can ship in batches and not one car at a time.

Yea, they have turned them in. Did you hear Saleen has increased the amount of ALL 05 S281's $1,800???

Damn.....that means I missed my chance to have bought one for $43,900 on ebay, sold it for $45,900 and made a quick $2000 profit!!
