So my buddy with a 98 mustang gt just got slp loudmouth exhaust on his car and he asked if i wanted his old mac cat-back and i was like yea sure how much? he said do u want it? i said yea sure. so we are at his house and hes like lets throw it on real quick i wanna hear how it sounds. i was like my dads goin to kill me becuz he hears everything and he hates bein wakin up. so i was like yea sure you only live once. he basically did the whole exhaust for me. so he was like we'll talk about payment later and i said ok. he calls me up later and hes like dont worry about the money consider a late christmas gift. is that a good friend or what? the exhaust sounds great doesnt seem to fit too well but it works.

That was pretty cool of him to do that.

I am surprised you guys got it to fit. Even though the '98 is the same body style as ours the exhaust hangers are different. That's why you see advertisements for exhaust as '94 to '97 GT with 4.6 or 5.0 engine.

So how does your dad like it? I love the sound of Mac. My car had flow's on it and I had to change that in a hurry. I think they are really nice with a off road H that a quick relook at your set up shows you already have.

my dad just thinks i put used tips on the old exhaust lol hes gotta know tho because hes not a dummy to cars he must be waitin for me to say sumthin because he asked my friend yesterday wut he did with his old exhaust. i love the sound of the exhaust. i have gotten so many compliments so far and ive had it for 2 days! its perfect not too loud but if u want people to notice u all you have to do is floor it at 3000 rpms.
To answer joes question it doesnt fit perfect at all. we had to make a custom bracket but it hasnt rubbed on anything yet and we made made it work

The secret is to have friends that drive similar cars...I didn't get a Christmas present for my car. What the heck? Anybody want to give me an early Christmas gift lol. I need a 94 95 Manual Tranny swap kit and I need someone to put it in lol. My current best friend IS replaceable by the way. But yeah super deal. Buy your friend a nice steak and beer.

i have a jegs brand h-pipe thats fits like crap no offense love the company but im going to ditch that for mac lt's and h-pipe. that should sound awesome. oh yea sorry about the shorthand i'm so used to texting.
