I was driving and well I knew my clutch was bad since I bought the car because I had very bad clutch shudder and when I took off the dust cover to release the cable to install my quadrant, it was full of clutch material and it slipped like hell. Anyway I let off in first and it felt really funny and when i put it into third *skipped 2nd stuck in traffic* It just free revved. In all gears it would not move... Well when I replaced the clutch monday with a clutch I ordered that was supposed to get here that friday anyway, I found out that the disc had no more friction material left on it and it was just bare metal and the flywheel was pretty glazed so we resurfaced the flywheel also. Anyway car feels great now and no shudder w/ quick strong grips. (just waiting till the clutch breaks in) Then find out how well it grips. But yea my friday night was pretty well ruined.

Yeah I was really worried that it might've been the tranny or input shaft or something... I was freaking out... But Thankfully my g/f was there to keep me sane through it. Sometimes I dont know what I would do without her. You guys know what I mean? I am sure some of you feel the same way about your significant others.

My car has been on a flat bed more than it has been on the road. No seriouslly, the only reason that my car has low miles-72,000 is because its been broken so many times. I do drive the hell out of it so its mostly my fault but I feel your pain. When your car depends on another car to get to a "temporary resting spot" its never a good sight to see. Glad to see you've got it fixed.
My car is off the road for a year because I cant afford to keep fixing it and race Karts. I blew my rear end up racing a Camaro...
