So should i do the switch??? I know Nacho says it was a great move compared to the stock one. One shop told me do it to get the most out of the car. Another shop told me that im always gonna have idling issues with my mods. So im kinda lost

I kinda agree. I'm not the one to ask but with those mods and the 30's, you will likely see at least little issues (like too much cranking fuel when the engine is hot) and maybe some other quirks.

I'd rather just get a tune on your (better) existing computer (wouldnt it suck to do the PIH swap and then still need a tune. Uggh).

Just my ramblings.

Good luck.

The tuning guys can explain why the T4 puter doesn't like mods (I think it's just a stringent factory tune, mostly for emissions). Foxes can take a decent amount of modding before getting hinky - an T4 puter would be coughing but the fox puter wont.

But the T4 processor is superior to the A9L's processor (not to be confused with what's loaded into the computers, programming-wise).

A tuner should be able to do that. They have the basic A9L parameters on file and can modify it (like how self-tuners start with the cobra file and modify it to their needs).

That said, I have the feeling that they know what it needs and do it themselves without regard for the A9L file (they don't need a starting point or frame-of-reference [like the A9L or J4 file] as a crutch to get started).

Don, Grady and all them will know definitively how all that works.

Have you considered buying the TwEECer? I find it ironic that 94/95 guys want the A9l computers but self tuner fox guys (not all) with the A9l computers want the 94/95 (Cobra) calibrations as a base to tune their cars . Seriously though, consider getting a TwEECer. You have control and you can and will get your car to work like you want. I have yet to tune for WOT but my drivability is great. I have no low speed bucking surging, idle issues. I can cruise at any rpm with no sufging or bucking and if when I press the pedal she snaps to attention (head snapping:D ) . I just installed my LM2 wideband and will began tuning for WOT.

I do have the Tweecer but its driving me crazy!!!!!! Im going to a tuer today since i got out of work and see if he can use the Tweecer to tune my car

Mr. G

Life is too short for all this grief and frustration ;)

We have talked about this stuff in the tech, talk, and believe it or not, the tuning forum as well.

I know it has been in a general all around kind of discussion :)

but you gotta see it like this ..........

None of the Tweecer users can give 100% specific details as each situation can be a little ... or ... a lot different.

HOWEVER

We can certainly point you in the right direction

I do remember offering to help and I feel I can say other 94-95 :SNSign: Tweecer users will try as well.

After all ... thats what we do Here :nice: ... Correct ;)

I can tell you to look at these areas for help with what you seek :D

tb airflow
neutral idle airflow
maf transfer idle points ... maybe 1 point above/below also
inj values such as slopes & offsets

Remember when we talked about looking at the K's to see if the adaptive is adding or pulling fuel ;)

 What do you think about this idea

Talk to us for more info ... if needed ... before starting
then
Try some of the above stuff
then
Talk to us about your results

 You got everything you need

 FOX PCM

:nono: We don't need no stinkin FOX PCM :nono:

Thanks. I went to a pro tuner today, and he said he would charge me 300 bucks for a street tune and a N2O tune. He will also help me to learn how to do it. Since i also want a race tune on racing gas and a N2O race tune. So as soon as i hook up my LMAF im taking it in to the shrink lol
