Sick and tired of all the slop in my steering, so I'm about too put a MM steering shaft in my 90 notchback, just put a new steering rack and tie rod ends about 1 months ago anything else I need to replace to tighten up my front ends play?

That doesn't come with my steering shaft? So I should order one of those too?
The MM unit replaces the ragjoint with a high-end sealed universal joint. So, you throw out the old ragjoint.
A broken/bad ragjoint is the major reason most people go with a MM steering shaft.
Or, people go with the POS death-trap Flaming River steering shaft designed and sold by morons!

Many years ago, I posted how for ~$1 (going to Safety Tied nuts or screws) and with revised instructions (to put the set screws deeper in the side) the morons at Flaming River could make that dangerous and moronic design "safe". Yet, have they bothered to make the changes - NO! Instead they let people get into accidents and people get killed.

Flaming River - another example of a company that I hate because they are clearly in business solely for the execs to make quick money - and screw everything/everyone else.

Good Luck with your MM steering shaft.
MM products, company, support, engineers, etc - all great! :nice:

it does not come with the rack and pinion (at least none of the ones I have replaced). It is part of the steering rod and what connects the steering rack to the steering column.

Auto zone sells the replacement rag joint. Mine was broken completely. Its not to bad of a job. The hardest part for me was getting the actual steering shaft out of the car and I have a 351w so a 302 should be a piece of cake..
