and one thing tomustang noted is that both of the top autox and road racing suspension companies use torque arm setups in the rear rather than the triangulated four link. If you were to move to a parallel 4 link or 4 bar system with a panhard bar or watts linkage you can do that, but believe me its a lot of work and time to design and build it since you will have to have it custom built for it to be right. So a torque arm setup in the rear is ideal for street, autox, and road racing since it can more or let bolt right in with a little bit of welding. also the torque arms give you a good instant center as compared to the factory triangulated 4 link, which I can just about bet that 99% of the people that do drag race their cars and upgrade their rear uca's dont adjust their instant centers to give them a better launch. this is also the reason that the S-197's were moved by ford from to a 3 link design with a panhard bar as compared to the sn-95's triangulated 4 link. another thing to add to that as well is that the factory 4 link uca's aren't really long enough to do their job properly.
I just wanna say this.... UPR Makes the WORST suspension products on Planet earth. I have had their products fail on me several times and caused other suspension damage on my car.

I never purchased any suspension UPR products before, but I did purchase an off road x-pipe made by upr and it did not fit with the driver side header. No matter what I did there was about a quarter inch gap between the header and the pipe.

Yea, I wasn't going to say anything because I don't have a dog in this fight, but I've read through a LOT of threads over the years of late night Mustang-forum-browsing with customers who were VERY unsatisfied with their products. I know you can't please everyone, but when there's that many, that's not just a jack-*** customer. I've never heard of anyone complain about MM, and when I hear that compared to UPRs reputation, I'll be taking my business to MM.
