So about a month ago I decided to order myself a set of 18x9 and 18x10.5 saleen replca wheels from stage 3 motor sports(bday present to myself). Due to my luck they were on back order (b/c of the 10.5 wheels)and they told me I'd have to wait a month for the wheels. So after a month of waiting and tracking the package the last couple of days the wheels finally arrive. I get home from work excited as heck to finally get my belated birthday present and sure enough they send me the wrong f*ing sized wheels. At that point I was ready to start braking windows at my house and kill someone. I mean i just waited a month to get a set of 18x10.5 wheels to go w/my tires and sure enough they send me a set of 18x10 wheels(which they had in stock this whole time). So basically i'm really pissed at this point and wondering if i should just keep the 18x10 wheels to avoid a whole the whole ordeal of sending the wheels back and a waiting another month or so to recive the right wheels. The reason I really wanted 18x10.5 wheels is b/c the rear tires i bought are 315/30/18 michellin pilots. Will the 18x10's work/look fine with these tires or should i send the wheels back and pray i get the right wheels this time around?

Many don't but they def. did at stage 3: Stage 3 Motorsports 1994-04 Mustang 18x10.5 Chrome Saleen Wheel - OE Concepts

So i should just keep the wheels then?

I know others that know for sure will chime in, but im pretty sure they'll fit. If it were me i wouldn't want to wait another month either. Shat i wouldn't have waited that long in the first place.

I would hate to wait the extra month also but at the same time would like to have what I really want. it all depends on how important that .5 is to you. other then that i think the 315's would fit the 10" wheels but you may get some bulge

the 315/30/18 will look really short on the rear.

a 305/35/18 will fill it out much better

....Sorry. I posted info on tire size but it doesn't really help with the rim size. Either way, I would call. Either send it back or get some discount on your order. The wrong size, especially after backorder, is BS.

315's should fit. i would call them and see if they will give you partial refund for sending you the wrong wheels. if not then i would return them.

Unfort. it's to late on the tire size. At this point I'm just trying to figure out if i should keep the wheels or not. And if it's a .02 diff. in size, that would be a pretty large buldge, no?

I'd send em back and get the wider rims that you already paid for.

So to give an update on the situation. I called stage 3 motor sports today to ask them what happened with my order. Instead of saying sorry, the guy trys to convience me that there's no such things as "true" 18x10.5 wheels and that 18x10" wheels they sent are basically the same thing. The nerve of this piece of s*it was unbelievable, instead of saying sorry, he trys to blame stuff on the vender and tells me it's only a .5" difference in width and that most people don't care about minor details like that. The worst part is, is that they charged me the same for the 18x9 and 18x10.5 wheels as the 18x9 and 18x10 wheels that they sent me, so i got no refund. (he claimed the the wheels they sent me were better quality or some bs). Bottom line, never ordering from these pieces of s*it again (even though the guy did say he'd "hook me up" with my next order) Unbelievable!!

I can not believe the whole better quality crap he is trying to tell you. if it is the same manufacture I don't think .5 will make a difference in quality customer service has really gone down in the last several years and its a shame.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I don't know if you remember my rant thread a while back about how i patiently waited over a month to get my wheels and they sent me the wrong ones....Its VERY frustrating! I ended up just keeping the ones they sent me because i didnt want to have to bother with shipping them back adn waiting another month to get the ones i ordered...
