Hey guys, haven''t been around in a while. I am still deep into my two wheel obsession but, have a problem I was hoping you all can help me with.
I recently replaced the front rotors with plain Brembo OEM type rotors and Motorcraft pads. From what I have always been told, when compressing the pistons back into the calipers generally you want to make sure you open the bleed screws so you don't force fluid the wrong way through the ABS system. I cannot recall if I left the bleed screw open when I compressed the pistons, I am thinking that I probably didn't as it was late and I was rushing. I am having an issue with my ABS and I am wondering if maybe I forced air into the HCU and just need to have the dealer bleed the HCU or did I do some damage??? I am not getting any trouble ABS lights or codes but, the ABS is just not kicking in when I believe it should. I bled the brakes really well the other day thinking that may be the probem, they still don't feel right. Before I take it to the dealer I thought I would run it by you guys...
Thanks
