ABS sensor switch on non-abs readend...

I have my GT rearend sitting by collecting dust, the only problem is that my GT was not ABS. Now my question is can you remove the sensors (Cobra) off the axle shafts and place them on the (GT) other shafts? I want to use my GT rearend for now because it was completely rebuilt and has FRPP 3.73's.

Are you talking about the rings that are pressed onto the axles??

The axles are the same for the GT and Cobra, just swap the axles.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking though

Theres an ABS magnetic sensor on the axle. But anyway I was just thinking it would be easier to swap the axles out.

Just swap the axles and brake hardware over to the GT rear end.

are you talking about the exciter rings on the axles?
