My traction control has almost gotten me killed a couple of times. If you are pulling out somewhere at an angle and the tires break loose, pretty much shuts you down in the middle of oncoming traffic. It works great as far as slick roads, but I would rather the button be pressed to turn it on, not off.
I remember a few months ago when my car was that clean.I hate winter. Not that it matters, seems like my car needs washed again as soon as I finish it.
Thanks for the insight. So if I understand correctly, when the traction control senses wheel slip, it cuts off the ignition system momemtarily? That sounds dumb considering the GT has a limited slip diff.
I'd like to retain ABS cause it has saved my butt a couple times in the past, and its easy to pull the ABS fuse if necessary.
Ah, wish they would offer this as two seperate options!
