not to derail but, is it cheaper to have my A/C "recharged" (especially being r-12? is there a conversion to R-134?) or to just remove it?
I can get it recharged for free just unsure of refridgerant cost.

how much did this delete kit run you? ive heard the anti a/c removal debate but mine doesnt really work

sorry for the derailment

The delete kit is $40, and a recharge with R12 is considerably more. usually the system leaks, the the correct wau to repair is to replace the o-rings and compressor seals before drawing a vacuum and recharging.

A lot of opinions on the remove vs fix debate. I yanked my A/C off years ago....and now am paying more money to reinstall it. :(
