Finally got around to replacing the vacumn line that controls which vents the ac blows out of.

i tried using a soft connecter and a long peice of vacumn line, connected to the old line, hoping i could just pull the old peice from under the dash, attach the fittings to the new line and be done. as i was pulling the old peice snapped, so now im lookin for an easy way to get the line back through the firewall. i cant see well enough from under the dash to feed it into the engine bay, and i the foam is kicking my a** trying to go from the engine bay to under the dash....

thanks guys.

Would it be easier to run a new rubber line through the hole in the firewall where the main wiring goes through, then run it under the dash? Many people cut the rubber gromet to run amp wiring and it will at least get you to the other side of the firewall.

What I did was use some 1/8" i.d. rubber vacuum line and stick the remaining plastic hard line inside the new line and tape it off. I think 1/8 i.d. should be very snug and not cause any further problems.
