AC problem

i highly doubt the ccrm is gonna fail on 2001, make sure you have a full charge of freon, if not then the compressor wont kick on to prevent damage to the rest of the system, i would start with with gauges and checking your pressures with compressor off the hi side should be between 160-210 and lo side should be between 45-60, if you have good pressures then check your cycling switch,(they fail a lot) it should be mounted on top of the reciever dryer near the firewall unplug it and jump the connector with a paper clip and see if the compressor turns on. this will bypass everything and send juice directly to the compressor regargless of pressures or anything. that should be start.

the a/c low side switch will not let the compressor activate if the freeon level is too low, this is done to prevent damage to the a/c compressor.. If you want to test this you can pull the connector off of the low side presure switch ( mounted on the accumulator) and jump the two connector terminals, the compressor should run when you do this, if not you have a possible ccrm fault.

BTW.. I strongly recomend you have the a/c system properly filled with a a/c machine, this way it will get evac done to it to remove air and other contminates plus you need to add oil to the system. It's a really bad idea to just refill a opened system with freeon cans.
