AC question

Decided to replace AC condenser since I am replacing everything else. I ordered one from rock auto for a 87. Not the same as what I had. The old one was a 2 row and the new one is only 1 row. It is possible the guy that had the car before me left the original 85 condenser in. But I have replaced everything else 87 and up since that’s the dash I have. What are the benefits of a 2 row versus 1. I am in Florida so I want whatever is going to work best.

Old one is a tube-and-fin serpentine style condenser. These are no longer made. If you order any replacement condenser they come parallel flow like the new one you have.

Parallel flow is an improvement and is preferred.
