AC suction low pressure service port location 89,5.0L

Just want to double check the location of the suction,(low pressure)AC service port location on a 89,5.0L Mustang,for recharging purposes.
Is it the fitting that`s right on the compressor,or the fitting that`s on the metal line just before the compressor?
