AC SUX HP

I dont know who can relate to me here, but i started to use my ac on hot days and it actually started to make the car run cooler...I dont know how, maybe because the rpms bump up by a few hundred and is circulatiing the coolant faster through the motor, plus when im driving, the car feels like it wants to go faster.....

I actually i heard that it is good to run your AC...and yeah I dont feel that much of a power lose either? I guess I got lucky too?

the ac turns on a second fan in these cars i do believe.

i know on dsm's only one fan is used unless the ac comes on, then both fans kick on full blast.

Since i got a cat-back put on i usually drive with the windows down just so i can listen to my car (love going under overpasses). One the few occasions where i have had the ac on i have to agree with everyone else the thing turns into a bit of a pig. When driving normally using little throttle input the thing feels as sluggish as my old '94 v6. Im not really sure why some seem to not have as much of a problem as others but i can easily tell when the ac is engaged by the way the car runs.
