Accidently lined up the dots wrong..What to do?

well im doin a cam swap and accidently lined up the dot wrong on the timing chain b4 i took it off. when i took it off I had the cam sprocket dot at the 12oclock position and the crank sprocket dot at the 6oclock position i know i had it backwards but what should i do when i reinstall the timing chain Just lign it up like that the turn the motor over till they line up right and reinstall the cam? or wth should i do

If nothing has moved, reinstall the chain, rotate the assembly till the dots are properly aligned then take it back off again.

ok thts what i was thinking. What if ijust take #1 plug out check for when piston is all the way up an install it then correctly

If nothing has moved... then don't screw with it. Just pop the chain back on and rotate it to the intended orientation. No muss, no fuss.
