before you install it, ride around in your car and floor it a few times from ~3000 rpms ...after you install it, you will notice a decent gain in your upper rpm range...my car pulls alot better up top thanks to the combo...i dynoed 247rwhp/290rwtq with accufab70mm tb/plenum combo, mac o/r H, flowmaster delta 40's... enjoy it :nice:

yeah i would liek that combo also but i am not so much going for the overall hp gians but throthel respons? will i notice a big gain in throttle response after i install the combo thanks

This subject has been beat to death. Check the threads at Modular Depot for the Plenum showdown results. If you need the link, I believe you will find it in the "best tech threads", which is a sticky in the Modular 4.6ltr tech main page. Or, you can just go to www.modulardepot.com and read their tech articles and write-ups. I believe its in there as well. The average gains with the 70mm throttle body and plenum combo is around 6-8rwhp on most GT's with increased throttle response. Will you feel it ? Most people say they do, but some say they don't.

its a nice 10 hp gain for its money...i hope u have a hand tuner tho or ur planning on goin to the dyno after..

this might sound a bit stupid , but why will i need a hand held for the TB+plenum combo? i mean what parameter will i have to adjust/change ???

I would imagine your A/F ration, now that you threw the stock tune off with your upgraded intake that is pumping more air into the engine. You also can advance the timing with the tune and gain some more ponies. But you REALLY dont want your a/f to be off.

thats true. but what i meant is..will i be able to adjust AF ratio with a hand held tuner?? such as xcal2 will i be able to do that like if i'm runing too lean or rich!?

I didn't see that much of a gain from my Accufab Plenum and 70mm TB. Maybe a little in the upper RPM 4K and above.

As a mod by itself I don't think you get that much out of it. As a part of a total mod package, I think you do. I got a lot out of my chip and tune and I think it was due to the Accufab as well as other mods.
