Adj Clutch cable install..Help please

I did mine and because your hanging upside down your car when trying to install, be carefull you dont put it in upside down like I did had to call Paul ''Darkness"like 1130 at night to rescue me to figure out why I had so much play in my cable and couldnt adjust it..lol...learned my lesson now I leave all the wrenching to the pros...well almost everything

The self adjusting quadrant can be a pain to take off but putting the new one on isn't too bad. Does your kit come with a centering kit? It has like two washers and takes up some of the play side to side to help the cable not bind on the quadrant?

1. jack up the car, go under and disconnect service cover on trans
2. have someone push on the clutch
3. undo the 13mm nut holding the clutch fork weight on
4. then slip the stock cable out
5. note how the stock cable is run and remove it and run the new one the same way
6. connect the quadrant under the dash and attach the cable to it after you install the firewall adjuster
7. double check routing of cable and then attach the cable to the clutch fork.
8. Tighten it first UNDER the car to take out most of the slack
9. Have someone push the clutch for you and then reconnect the clutch fork weight. You'll know why you have to take it off when you get under there
10. Thendouble check everything and make sure it moves the fork and everything.
11. Something you may want to do is PUSH UP on your clutch fork. And when I say up I mean it.... push straight up on the clutch fork. Mine slipped off because it was so worn Caused alot of problems.
12. Then get in the car start it up and make sure the clutch disengages and everything and that you have about 1/2" of play at the top of the pedal. If you're close but not perfect on the play you can adjust it at your firewall adjuster

I believe you want the SECOND (furthest) away hook on the quadrant.... cant remember exactly

After a week or so you might have to put a turn on the firewall adjuster for cable strech / seat in / etc... thats kinda normal. Just fyi
