Adjustable clutch cable pics

Sticking with the OEM non-adjustable cable is good advice. I've read numerous posts re: issues with the adjustable ones. I use the OEM cable + Steeda firewall adjuster with no issues.

Also, your neck and back will thank you for taking the seat out. Here's a pic of the finished product. Hope it helps. The hardest part is removing the 2 springs that hold the stock plastic pieces in place.

it was the biggest PITA i ever have done for such a little piece of plastic. took me hours and hours to get that damn little plastic thing out.

i got a tip to use the tire iron through the firewall from the engine and bust those things apart. If i had known i would have just paid to have it changed. lol

I finally figured out the trick to getting that small quadrant off. Crawl under there with a long flat tip screwdriver, and you'll see where there is a metal clip that clips around the steel arm on the pedal assembly itself. stick the screw driver under it, and pry it away from the assembly, essentially unlatching the quadrant from the pedal assembly. next, reach up with your finger, and push the other end of clip through the quadrant as far as it can go. Rotate the quadrant counterclockwise, and depress the pedal as far to the floor as it'll go.. the small quadrant will slide right off.
