Adjustable vs. non-adjustable

I have my vogtland springs on their way and they are a mild 1.2" drop. I was wanting to get new LCA's as well, but I am unsure if I will need the adjustable ones or not. I am going with the J&M LCAs so the adjustables are a decent amount more. Since i am installing the springs, will I need the adjustable LCA's over the regulars or is it more for super fine tuning the ride?

I am all about getting the best bang for the buck I can when upgrading my car because I just don't have a giant amount of cash to throw at it. So if I can save $100 for something not needed on the LCA's then I can always throw that at something else.

With that mild drop all you need are the springs and an alignment with new adjustable camber bolts.

Adjustable LCA's are only for serious road racing so you can adjust thrust line to the course. Get a good set of non adjustable LCA's for your car like BMR, CHE, Metco or Steeda and you'll be perfect for the street.

Springs and Bolts are on their way in, and she will be getting an alignment shortly after the install.

I was told that I may not need an adjustable panhard bar since the drop is only 1.2". Is that not the case?

I needed it with the Steeda Sport springs which is about the same drop.

Good to know. I guess if for nothing else, it is probably a more lightweight and stronger part than stock anyhow.

i have everything J&M offers. get the non adjustable lowers you have to adjust twice as much if you get adjustable lowers instead of just the upper. the panhard bar i have is aluminum. each rod end is lighter than the rest of the bar! i didnt check to see if i would need the panhard bar before it was installed. i just did it.

i have a buddy that has the FRPP springs which is about 1.5" drop. i checked his rear end alignment, and it was centered after spring install. it is possible that the rear was off to begin with from the factory.

Yeah from what I have read when doing my research, I will be buying all my suspension parts from J&M. It also helps that their prices are some of the best out there!

No kidding. The factory panhard bar has sand in it.
