I have a QFT 650cfm carb with mechanical secondaries. I have some time this weekend to dial it in for my particular car, but can't call their tech line with my question since they are closed for the weekend. So, just wondering the difference between the three secondary linkages they gave me with the carb. Two are progressive at different rates and one is 1-to-1. What exactly does this mean? I'm looking for the mechanical secondaries to come on hard as soon as the gas pedal hits the carpet if not sooner.... Is that what these linkages are for? Which is best? Thanks!

It's just that. The secondaries will open progressively as you open the fronts. If it's 1:1, then they will open the same speed as the back. But I would do that unless you had a huge stall, or a drag car. May be pretty hard to tune the secondaries for driving if it doesn't have a secondary idle circuit.
