Adjusting setting on Ford Bullitt Knob

Just got my tri-ax in with the Ford OEM Bullitt Shift Knob. How do I adjust this thing to get it tight without it being upside down?

A few wraps of Teflon tape around the shifter threads helped me out when I installed my Bullitt shift knob. Try it, it works. You might have to do it a few times to get it to line up, but it will.

I did'nt have any problem with it lining up?

I do. If it's tight enough that it doesn't flop around when I'm shifting, it's upsidedown.

When I used the stock knob and Pro 5.0 shifter I had the same situation and installed a washer on the shifter lever before putting on the shifter boot.
