Hey everyone I just bought an 86' 5.0 block which i plan to drop into my 1970 stang. I have gotten it all cooked out, line bored, crank turned, balanced, freeze plugs, and bored over 30. Here is what I plan to put into it:
Edelbrock rpm performer intake
600 holley 4bbl
KB flat top pistons w/ releifs
TFS twisted wedge 61cc almn. heads
E303 cam
2400-2800 stall convertor.

I would be running this setup with a c4 3 speed automatic tranny w/ 3:25 gear ratio. Anyone have any advice to this setup before i buy the parts for the engine, or anyone have any idea whether this is a good setup or bad? any horsepower guesses? Thanks!

well 4.10 would be way too low for an automatic 3 speed
i only have 3 gears so i would be taching out at like 4 grand at 60mph with 4.10
the e cam is what i was told to run very good low end power for a street car, i am not running through emmissions, so do you have any better suggestions for a cam?

ya custom it is the best ask ne one here
in my opion e cam is the cheapest off the shelf cam you can buy there are plenty of choices look at you stall speed vs the e cam theres not much room for power wouldnt you say ...and sorry i wasnt thinking with the c4 tranny
