Okay, After watching the boxing match on the 302 computer on a 408, I have some questions, but this is another can of worms, and I haven't boxed in some years, so here goes.
My car is a 1993 4cyl roller(no engine harness) that I bought and still have plans for a 408 in it. I purchased a wrecked 1996 e150 cheap for the motor, got all the FI wiring , computer, etc.
I suck at fuel injection. I am an old school carb guy and that's all I've ever used.
My question is... Is the OBD2 efi from the van worth trying to make work on the 408, or should I chunk it all and slap a super victor with a big nasty holley on it? (or other options?)
Oh, and this car doesn't have an efi fuel system, it was set up for carb with a holley pump, and the pump in the van is dead.
I've heard all the crap before about how terrible it is to have a fox with a carb, yeah, ok. I get it. I just need some honest, feasable opinions.
Which way to go?
Thanks fellas!
