hi i just got a brand new AEM wide band. so i installed per the instructions. didnt use the 2 wires for data longing. ok so this is whats wrong. i will start the car it will read 12-14 and go all over the place in that area. then it will just stop working and read --- in the display. my car is a 88 5.0 with 30 lb injectors with a match pro m mass air running 42lb of pressure at the reg. i know my car cant be that lean. i called aem and they said exhaust leak but i dont have one that i can hear. i mounted the gauge on the hpipe about a foot down from the reg o2 sensor. what do you guys think?

Its working correctly, at idle it is very common to be lean over 15:1.... Personally Id knock fuel pressure down to 36-38psi, vac off
