I'll be changing the fp in the '90 notch this weekend with a Walbro 190. At 52K the oe pump is whining a little. Figure I'll throw in a reg at the same time.
I have an Aeromotive unit ($114 Summit) I bought for my SSP notch, but it wouldn't fit right on the rail.
It made contact with the EGR valve when trying to install it, so I ran up to my speed shop and got a BBK unit instead ...
Also, the vacuum nipple isn't in the factory location, so I'd have to buy a length of hose
My question: Has anyone had this same fitment issue with the Aeromotive regs
I'm hoping someone could give insight, so I only have to make one trip to the speed shop and will pick up another brand reg there if deciding to go that route.
