I just installed my aeroquip socketless fittings and hose. I was wondering from those who have installed this before, if the red retainer ring is supposed to be tight against hose or loose and moving around. I just need the reassurance before I install the lines tonight. I used tons of lubricating oil to install and the hose sits under the ring. Thanks!
