I was cleaning my filter yesterday and as such had to take off the aluminum cover and then was thinking that since I have the Cervini hood with the vents (similar like the concept GT500) which happens to be right over top of the intake. The only concern I have is with water hitting the filter if its raining or snowing - thoughts? Will it do anything in terms of increasing airflow since it would be opened up considerably, or are the concerns regarding water getting into the intake too high?
