Well, ladies and gents...as the title says, I'll be off to do my second tour in Kandahar on the 16th of this month.

(do we even have any ladies here? Besides Guero?) (Just kiddin fella!)

Anyway, as you all know, my project has been ongoing for too long, but as stated in another thread, I'll be using this time overseas to fund the final result of the car.

I really hope to see quite a few of you at the big Brockville, Ontario show next August. Anybody from the northeastern states will be within decent range of it, and you'll definitely not be disappointed.

I've been overly busy the past few months, and even moreso the past few weeks, but I will be online once I get over into Afghanistan, and I look forward to spending some quality time discussing the tech side of my build up while I'm there.

There are quite a few of you on here that I've known now for years, and have been incredibly beneficial to the quality of this entire forum...god knows you're the reason I keep coming back.

This section of the forums, as said before, has become a family, of sorts, for some of us. That said, many of us, myself included, rely on other stangers for advice, and peice of mind. I needed that this year, and like real life family, you're all still here, and so am I. Thank you for that, I appreciate it more than you know :nice:

Now...as morbid as this might sound... and, I don't expect this, but I'm going into a place where one can never know. If anything is to happen to me, I'll most certainly make sure that you guys do find out. Believe it or not, it's something that actually concerned me, and I have given phone numbers of members on here, to my family, with the request that they contact them if I am to become another Canadian casualty in the war on terror.

I don't know how bad that sounds...but I figured I would get it out there now, just to put it on the table. Again, I don't expect anything to happen, I'm going to be quite well armoured and protected there.

Yarr....too long of a thread. I just wanted to say thanks to you guys again, for another good year of laughs and great mustang advice. You guys make me proud to be a Mustang guy! :nice: :flag: :canada:

Dude, be safe over there man! I think I speak for everyone on this board when I saw I really appreciate what your doing over there, so make it back safe and finish up that beast. Good luck man, keep in touch with us while your gone, god knows we can always use the jokes and/or Canadian humor:canada:

Godspeed, son. I'm sure you'll make it back in one piece. I look foreward to seeing your 'stang complete next year, probably while mine's completely torn-apart haha. I guess we'll be switching roles in that scence.
Take care, my fellow canadian pimp
