Afghanistan in 11 days!

Hey fella's. I'll be trying to get some pics up soon for you guys, but things have run pretty smoothly over here. We've gotten a few little things here and there on the camp (rockets and whatnot) but generally it's not so bad here. We have a Tim Hortons...life is good.

Hey Danny, any word on when you're wife is gonna be coming out this way? If I get to run into her, we'll have to get a picture for you! As for Mustang mags, we've got'em on sale at your American PX all the time. My god you Americans LOVE mustangs! It's great!

And I'll definitely be searching for Justin Keene...in fact, I can probably find him in a matter of minutes on this camp.

Just the other day, we had Kid Rock, Robin Williams, Lewis Black and Miss American show up for a USO show...I'll try to get pics up for that as well.

The weather is cold at night, hot during the day, normal for the desert. You get pretty used to the fighter jets taking off at every hour of the day. A few of'em, not sure which ones (I don't look out on the airfield) are ridiculously loud. I'm thinking of sneaking out there some night and putting mufflers on every one of them...maybe cats too. I'd love to see the looks on the faces of the air crew to see that in the morning.

Hope all is well, and I'll be online over Christmas for sure

Cheers fellow stangers,

Aaron

Stay safe and Merry Christmas brah!

I'm sure Danny won't mind if you and his wife have to share body heat to keep warm during those cold desert nights.

Just messin. :D
