Yes another cam question!!! So I have a 306 and its about 9.5:1 compression and I have afr 185s strapped on it and was looking for a cam to do it justice seein I spent 1400 for them mine as will put a deasent cam in it. But the only problem is I have a non roller block and am conserding a retro fit setup but still cant see the 40 or so horse power worth the money SOMETIMES but am willing to do it. I have looked at lunati comp and just about every other manufacture and I have also sent a email to ed curtis. But I would like to hear the combo from some of you who have used the afr 185 heads with good results my goal is at least 400hp and the motor will be carbed. By the way this is my daily driver so it needs to be able to idle, barely..
AFR 185 cant let them go to waste.
