I have a 70 Mustang 351C, and was wondering if anyone makes a fuel
injection set up for this motor...........if so how expensive.......and how labor
intensive to install? Thanks!!

A quick search shows Edelbrock sells a complete system. The part no. is 35410 and Summit sells it for $3363.00. That's just the first one that popped up. I'm sure there are more.

I use the Edelbrock setup and it runs great, but it is pretty pricy. I run a supercharged 347 and she runs awesome. But as mentioned there are many different FI options out there, so I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one you pick.

Holley is coming out with some new stuff that is AWESOME!! I am in the procees of swithcing my car over to that. Not sure if they have 351C specific, but they have a universal kit (which is what I am using) that will adapt any intake manifold to EFI. Self learning also!!

MPI is great BUT the new TBI self tuning systems like the fast ez efi and powerjection give multiport a run for the money, the new style TBI systems use high pressure injectors as well as wide band 02 sensors, the bummer with the ez-efi and powerjection 3 is there is no ignition control and the ez-efi is not laptop programmable like the powerjection 3, I bought a used powerjection 1 system which has the self tuning feature but also has ignition control and a returnless fuel system. you may want to look for the powerjection 1 as they are still around. No major changes are required, you can use your existing intake etc....and make power like a finely tuned carb but with the drivabilty and economy of efi.

Here's another one. Most of these kits are pricey. For that kind of money i would rather have a supercharger with a carb.

Ford 351 Cleveland EFI System [FORD351C] - $3,194.99 : Mass-Flo EFI, The World's Only True Plug and Play EFI System.

The new Holley line starts with a throtle body system very similar to the easy efi (avenger) and goes up to the unlimited version MPI (dominator) with throttle by wire and transmission contol capabilities. All of the new systems come with and use a wideband. For all around features and and price I am finding this stuff hard to beat. Their Avenger versions come with a handheld tuning device while the HP and Dominator line use a laptop or their fancy touchscreen device.

I am running their new HP version which will give me intergrated boost control and meth injection along with self tuning and laptop tuning capabilities. This stuff has come a long way from their old commander junk.

Not advocating anybody's system (because I'm not interested in a "this is better than that" debate); but Trick-Flow's 2011 catalog is advertising a 351C version of the intake they sell for 5.0 Mustangs.

I plan on taking my 73 Cougar cross-country before I die; and the thought of having SN-94 fuel injection components available at nearly any O'Reilly/NAPA/Auto-stoned/"Billy-Bob's Car Partz" store sounds pretty good to me.

EDIT: Heard about this in a discussion thread on 351Cleveland dot net
