Aftermarket Amp Install ?'s

Okay, this is for my F-250 ..... but the head unit and wiring is identical to our car's from the factory.


Anyway, there is a "SYSTEM WIRE" on my amp. What specific wire do I need to tap into for that?


And, since this is a factory HU with no RCA's ..... how do I go about getting the signal from the HU to the amp?

I'm guessing the system wire is the one that tells the amp to turn on when the deck is on, if you want you can wire it to a switch so u can turn it on when you want and turn it off also.. As for wiring to the factory speakers if you have a high level in you can tap your speaker wiring to it so that will work and if not you will need a line out converter that will make it so u have rca hook ups

or cut your wires and run them to your amp then from the amp to the speakers

if that is the on that turns it when theradio is on I would think which ever one gets hot after you turn the key on that turns your radio on
