This build plan of mine is kind of becoming regretful...I'm grafting a 1998 Cobra into my '68 coupe. It was a driver with a slight knock. Turns out the spun bearing took out the crank journal and bent the crank and the block needs to be sleeved. The sleeving and boring is about as much as me getting another block...ok. Next is finding a replacement crankshaft. I had no idea these things were rare as hens teeth with prices to match. I'm not looking for much more than the stock 305hp. Maybe low 300's with some bolt on's but I'm not planning to punch this out. Cool cruiser with a surprising engine bay kind of ride.
