You can find a lot of good seats out of older cars, get wedge engineering brackets and sliders and have the seats refinished.
You would be surprised how many cars came with good recaro's.
I don't remember off hand how much i'm into mine, but it was worth every penny.

For the most part I really hate seats in a fox with one piece backs (no actual headrest) with rounded tops, just doesn't fit the era the car was made.
A 94 is a much more rounded design car than a fox, but I still think square backs with headrests would be the best.
If you look at saleen s351's they used recaros and they look awesome. Similar seats aren't really that hard to acquire. Where you get whacked is the sliders and brackets.

I recently hauled in a altima for a engine change and while doing my usual spare change inspection, I noticed that the seats were real comfy and looked kinda like recaros, leather to boot! It's going to the junk yard after the engine gets yanked and I'm thinking of grab'n them.
Hate to say it but those nissans have some nifty chairs so don't pass up a quick look at one, nobody has to know.

It is a 09, but I've seen newer ones with the same style, like 6to8 said, the maxima's are nice too.

These aren't aftermarket, but I would like to do this.

@Bossed put a set of S550 seats in his son's '92. He had to modify the seat frames a bit. Damn it looks good though.

Don't those things weigh about a million pounds?

I put recaro specialist in my 90 gt. Well I put one in...with the mounting bracket it ran 1400.... damn it feels good. Not sure I want to do the passenger seat, my thrift way coffee cup fits nice and snug between the stock seat and the e-brake lever..

Or that for 1400 a pop recaro would put a cup holder and a microwave in the seat

Yeah when I do my seats, probably TMI cobra 03-04 or one of the newer style TMI, I don't want to put cups between the seat and P brake like I used to because I guess I may be ocd in thinking eventually it'll nick the seat in that area or something lol. I have one cup holder and so I guess I'll who ever has a to go drink riding with me in the stang ( only one person can ride in their with me), then they'll have to probably hold their drink or something. I may not want to put the dual cupholder mod because I like the ashtray to hold the radio remote. Then again I guess it could sit in one of the drink holders.

I'm making too much of this thing lol. I guess all in all it ain't that serious other than not wanting to eventually nick up the seat

We have an option to get custom seats made at a reasonable price in the correct color. Might be the way to go.

The Recaros in my Focus are amazing. Looking for something similar.

I don't remember the details. It's a used seat from the same company that makes seats for Saleen, rebuilt, and customized.
