aftermarket hood alignment

Typically on the SN95 cars, have people had to adjust the hood bracket where it mounts on to the BODY for alignment (not the mounting bracket to the hood)???

Also, have many modifications to the stock hood latch been required, or slight movement up/down??? I'm still working on getting mine to close all the way... It's like it goes in half way....

Just curious of any tips, etc. I am installing a Cobra RR hood on my 94. It's cockeyed a little bit in the front, and it seems there is a 1" clearance problem with it closing all the way.

The main way i got my hood to finally shut is messing around with the rubber mounts that the hood hits and rest on when closing. They are located on each side of the car in the front and you can twist them so they sit higher or lower. I had to go through a ton of **** when putting mine on since i got in an accident and my frame was slightly bent and the hood latch pipe thing was bent all over the place and the hood latch was slightly bent. Wound up getting it all figured out after a few hours.
