Aftermarket K-members and tubular A-arm Questions

The motor is out of my car right now and i think itd be a good time to redo the front suspension. I have been looking into K-members and was hoping that I could get some advice on choosing the right one.

I really like MM's stuff but it seems way expensive, should i just go with a UPR or D&D set-up? I dont really care how the car handles around the corners as long as it goes straight.

Also how hard is the installation? any tips.

I found the install quit easy. It's alot harder getting the old one out, because it's such a heavy bitch. I put my new MM k-member in by myself holding it up with one arm and putting the bolts in with the other.

You get what you pay for when you go with MM. Their stuff is usually made using better material and they usually go the extra step when designing it. One thing I Noticed about UPR's arms, is that they aren't actually A-arms...but V-arms, making them alot weaker (but also lighter of course). And they look to be made out of smaller diameter tubing.

yea i love the MM stuff, ive got there subframes and LCA's but the MM k-member is almost the price of the whole UPR kit,

how did you tell that the new k-member was ligned up correctly

I used a tape measurer and a couple of plumb bobs and squared it to the rear lca mounting bolts.
