Ok, we bought a street strip c-4 to replace our slipping original tranny. Now that we got it in the car, we realized they cut off the stock bracket for the shift rod. Soooo..ok, we can go aftermarket. We picked up a B&M Z-Gate, but park is too far forward-it hits the center section of the dash (where the radio goes). Anyone with a big body ever go aftermarket with their shifter? If so, what shifter did you go with. We have the full length center console and want to be able to use it still.
