Aftermarket speakers

Ok i know this is a dumb question i could probably figure out, but its dark and about to rain so i thought i would ask, what size are the 3 speakers in the dash of my 86 GT and do i have to take the dash cover off to change them, is that hard to do?

not sure about your car but the newer ones like 87 -93 have little screws that hold the cover in place! look though your windshield into the car at the speaker cover if you see the screws I'm talking about take them out and you should be able to pull the cover off to get at your speakers! there might be a screw on the inside where the door meets up with the body to ! ? cant remeber! hope that helps!
