Has anyone out there got custom wheels on their cobra. I don't mean a custom size factory "knock off" I mean a different style altogether. If so let me see some pics. I am racking my small brain to try to figure out the right combination, plus I just want something a little different. Thanks

I have a set of wheels (3-4 months old with only 250 miles on them) that I am going to sell.......they are Enkei GTV wheels 18 x 9 with Falken 285/35/18 tires on them. I would bet that not too many cobras, if any at all, have these wheels on them. I don't have a picture of them on my car....but will by Monday. They are five spoke type in Hyper Black (really more like a Hyper Silver)........go to Enkei.com, click on United States, then click on Wheels and then click on Racing wheels and finally GTV. Even thought they are five spoke type....they are different and have a nice look.

They have a 35 offset in the back....I wanted to bring them out more so I bought H&R 1" hubcentric wheels spacers for the rear only....perfect position right under the lip etc.

1268 melberger, those are some pretty good looking wheels, I am very interested in seeing them on the car. Why do you want to get rid of them?

I will get a few pictures of them on my silver '03 by the weekend....I just got a digital camera yesterday and will figure out how to download and get them on here etc. $1,700 for wheels, tires and rear spacers + shipping.........cost me @ $2,450.

This is my first time posting pictures and it made me reduce them greatly to the point they are tough to see........If you are still interested, I can e-mail all the pictures at full size.

1268melberger, got all of the pics at work on Thursday, but I am also looking at going with wider wheels, at least 10's. Wheels look great, just wish the were wider. Thanks for the pics though.

I have smaller but wider rims on the rear of my 97 Cobra, 17X11. They fit okay, but I had to put a panard rod kit on the rearend to keep the axle from shifting. When it did the tires rubbed. No spacers. 285/40/17 is the tire size. They are still within the wheel wells, so I could go with a wider tire, but I will need the spacers. Sorry no pics yet.

I have NSRacing 18x9 on mines. They are Hyperblack spyder style deep dishes. They are wraped in Sumo's A-tracks on 275's all the way around. I have bullit spacers on the back to make the wheels come all the way out.

Will throw up some pics when I get to the home system.
