I go to roll down my window and nothing happens except it makes a clicking sound. There is absolutely no resistance either in the handle. Any ideas and whats the best way to take the door panel off without damaging anything (66 coupe). Thanks for any help.

Which way do I slide the panel off? I know there's little pins in there.

Use a butter knife to get behind them and g-e-n-t-l-y pry them off. There's no sliding to it. I'm wondering if your regulator is toast. I think I have a spare set....

It is usually the little plastic rollers. There are 2 in each window ( I think, its been a while since I looked) They are really cheap, buy enough to do the whole car. They are located at the ends of the regulator on a pin, secured with a c clip. They all eventually break. I place the roller in the track and slip the pin into it and then put the c clip in place. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I've found the problem. Once I got the window handle off I noticed it was really worn inside and on the actual regulator itself so it would just slip the whole time. If I buy a new handle it should fix the problem at least temporarily.

There's 3 on the front windows, two on the rears. Looks like your solution is rather simple, sounds like the screw was loose. For now, swap with the passenger side crank until you get another one. I think I have a spare one of those too, but I won't be able to look until next week as I'm headed to WFC in the morning and won't be back until late sunday.

I'll just up an buy a new one. The window has always had some more resistance than the other ones when rolling it up or down, what would be the best way to deal with it. I'm pretty sure it's been greased.
