Well i picked this baby up yesterday at the shipping terminal.. Painted the block last night, and decided to toss it in the car tonite. I was gonna wait for the heads/cam to drop it in, but i dunno how long it will take to have them, so i figure i can get the tranny and everything all set now while i wait for the heads/cam.

Anyways heres some pics of the the new 418..

Not to sound like a bi*ch, but you should clean the engine bay up.

lol everything is just hanging in there, i probably have less wires in the bay (when its all together) then everyone but oink.. If you mean the paint, cant do anything, just old.

fits......LIKE A GLOVE!(with the best Ace Ventura imatation i can do)

i really think you should have brought your old motor over here to my house...and maybe do something cool like drop it into my engine bay...id give ya a factory 67k longblock in return

that paint is OK...id just get in there and try cleaning it...you will be surprized how much that paint may come back...maybe grab some Meguires pant cleaner(its step #1 in their 3 step system) and have at it im sure it will spruce it up

once Ed gets me the heads/cam it will only take a couple nights to have it running. I hope to have that stuff sometime next week, maybe this week, havent got word on the ETA yet, so hopefully it will be running next weekend.

What are you going to do as far as electronics? TwECCer or dyno-tune/chip?
