Last night I upgraded my after market radio. I had blown the radio fuse while installing the new head unit. I changed it with no problem. This morning driving into work I noticed my air bag light blinking a few times then stop and repeat 3 or 4 times then it stayed illuminated. I looked in the owners manual and there is a fuse that is for the acc of the air bag. I had pulled it last night while trying to find the radio fuse. The only bad fuse was in fact the radio one. I of course checked again today and made sure it was properly seated

So my question is there a way to reset the computer in the car or a simple reset for the air bag module? The owners manual of course says take it to a Ford authorized repair shop immediately.

Anyone else experience this?

I am sure it is blinking 52 or something like that. It means that it lost voltage. Anyway, there is a grey harness under your glove compartment. it has 2 wires going into it and there is no harness plugged into the other end. you need turn the key forward and jump those 2 wires. hold the jumper on it for around 5 seconds or so until you here a loud beep. at this point it will be reset. but when you turn the key forward you will hear the normal chime of the car. you need to do all of this either before or after. i cant remember. if you do it before and it doesnt work then turn the key back and then turn forward again. sorry i cant be of anymore help then that.. good luck
