Some mice ate some wires last winter and my seat buckle light comes on and off within a second. I think the mice ate some wires for the Seat Restraint Module. Where is this module located? I haven't checked fuse # 36 yet, but if it is blown, putting in another fuse will probably get blown again. I guess the harness is somewhere near the radio. Any ideas?

On an ’01 Cobra (New Edge) the “Seat Belt/Restraint Control Module” is part of the RCM (Restraints Control Module) system — the same module that handles the airbags.
Location:
It sits inside the car, center of the floor, under the dash console area.
Specifically, it’s bolted to the transmission tunnel just ahead of the shifter, under the center console.
Look for a small rectangular aluminum box with a big yellow connector (yellow = airbag/RCM circuits on Fords).
Things to note:
If mice chewed the harness, it’s often in the center console harness run or the kick panel harnesses where they like to nest.
The buckle sensor wiring usually runs under the seats into the same harness path that ties back into the RCM under the console.
Fuse 36 (10A) feeds that circuit, so if it’s blown, inspect the harness for a short-to-ground before replacing the fuse.
Safety:
Disconnect the battery and wait 15–20 minutes before working with the RCM or its wiring. The airbags hold charge from capacitors even after key-off.
Don’t probe the yellow connector directly with a meter unless you know you’re on non-airbag pins.
