My air bag light has been coming on since I purchased car over a year ago. We scanned it months ago and the code was related to a power supply issue.
The light will flash 5 times then pause for about 2 seconds then flash 2 more times. Then it pauses for about 5ish seconds???
What is the issue here, and if it is a power supply issue where should I start looking?
Thanks for your reply's.

Check out this site for your airbag issues. It gives you all of the codes, so you can find out what exactly is going on.

If the clockspring is broke, then the horn and cruise wont work, correct??? Mine seems to be working fine, well at least the horn does. Last time I checked the cruise it worked fine as well.

mine was flashing a code 3. The site said something about a power supply voltage, but what i did was put some electrical tape over the sensor mounting bolts and it stopped! I think it was grounding out on the hood prop rod and hood, but i dunno. I was amazed it was such a simple thing. I guess I need to go get some better grounding bolts.

Just my experience lol

Mine was doing the same thing, but if I remember correctly the horn and cruise still worked. Ended up spending about $500 at Ford to get it fixed. At the time it seemed like nobody but the dealer had a clue in Vegas.

It was a bad clock spring. Good luck.

yes, the airbag part of the clockspring is more fragile than the horn/cruise part and is quite separate.
