I've seen them in the store and have seen a few post's about them. Can you tune the engine with one of them. I know it will tell you rich lean and ok but how do you tune off of it thanks for the reply....

The A/F gauges that work with your stock O2 sensors are not accurate enough to tune with. These gauges run about $50 and have LED's in them that sweep from "rich" to "Stiochoic" to "Lean" just tell you which side of 14.7 A/F you are on.

In order to tune your car, you will need a wideband O2 sensor tapped into your exhaust with a numeric read-out that displays the actual A/F ratio. This setup costs about $600.

I didn't realize they were that inaccurate. I still think they look cool though, how hard are they to install? Do they hook right up to the stock O2 sensors?

I got an Innovative LM-1 for 349 from the company themselves.... Nice Wideband... I've been doing alot of tuning with it...

haha... for a minute i thought you were being a smartass until i realized that's his screenname...

true the a/f ratio gauges aren't accurate enough for serious tuning (due mainly to the sensors being used), but they certainly are handy to make sure you're not running lean at WOT...

I second the innovate motorsports wideband system. A buddy of mine ordered one several months ago and we have been using it to tune his JYTT car and it works great. Far better than any autometer light show just a little more expensive.
