has anybody replaced the big silencer,in the inlet pipe,on these cars? would big pvc pipe work? thanks

Depending on what year you can do pretty much anything you want as long as you don't get rid of any sensors. I took all of that stuff out and this is all I've got:

Doesn't seem to suffer from any power loss when warmed up.
